Concentrated therapy that accelerates the healing process
One-Day or Two-Day Intensives
One-Day Intensive
Best suited for couples who cannot make weekly sessions fit in their busy schedules. The title says it all, it will be “intense.” We will meet for 5 hours which allows for the possibility of quicker progress than the traditional weekly sessions. Although an intensive is an amazing jump start on therapy, it is not a one-time-fix for all your problems. Couples coming for a one-day intensive will need to continue work with an EFT therapist in their area or return for follow-up therapy with me.
Two-Day Intensive
Best viewed as a personalized marriage retreat where you get away from home to concentrate on your relationship. You are encouraged, even if local, to stay in a hotel where the evening allows you “couple time” to relax and have fun with your spouse. Homework will be given to guide discussion. The two-day format is designed to be more intense than the one-day. Work we do can be equivalent to a few months of therapy. Most couples will need to have some form of follow-up therapy.

A great option for couples with unpredictable schedules or those wanting to make deeper progress in a shorter period of time.
The 2-Day Intensive
Is designed to help couples break through stuck patterns by dedicating focused time to their relationship. We cover many of the same goals as traditional therapy but in a concentrated format—often helping couples gain insight and connection more quickly. They are just as the word describes, intense, and because you are dedicating two days solely to working on your marriage, progress can be made at a quicker pace.
Intensives are typically scheduled about 4 weeks in advance to allow time for important preparatory work before we meet in person. To reserve your spot, a deposit of $1,450 is required, with the remaining balance due on the first day of the intensive. You are also welcome to pay the full fee of $2,900 upfront, if preferred. Because intensives are a specialized service, they are not eligible for insurance reimbursement. As such, I do not work directly with insurance companies or provide superbills. These policies help create the structure needed for a focused and effective intensive experience.

Why do an intensive
We all need to be seen and feel accepted by someone. From that felt sense of being known we now have the courage to go and face life. My goal is to provide that safe place to explore so you can rediscover your safe haven.
Making that kind of a therapy commitment can be scary and overwhelming.
